Alyssa Michelle Richman is a lifelong educator, children’s author, and animal lover. More than 16 years ago, while completing her undergraduate studies, Alyssa wrote the story that would eventually become Magical Misty, inspired by her own beloved beagle, Misty. After years of teaching and seeing firsthand the difference kindness, encouragement, and imagination can make in a child’s life, she decided it was finally time to bring Misty’s story to young readers. Today, Magical Misty has grown into the Magical Beagle series, where each new adventure is created to help children smile, believe in themselves, and discover just how powerful kindness can be.
